Now, just because I may be on my phone too much doesn't mean I'm "addicted" to it. If I were, that's what I would be spending all my time on in a day, and not spending time without it, interacting with people in person, going to places in person, etc. I also refrain from using my phone when doing things like homework, studying, class, eating meals, etc. To me, a high phone usage/screen time doesn't always mean an addiction to the device, but rather a bad habit. And we can get rid of these bad habits by replacing them with good habits, and practicing them intentionally.

Phone Usage: Addiction?
This post will be centered around a conversation that had taken place in class recently, phone usage. I honestly don't usually think about my phone usage most of the time, as my attention is on other things, like schoolwork, athletics, what happened in my classes that day, etc. However, when the topic is brought up, it makes me realize how reliant on my phone. I find that I'm on my phone a lot more than I think, and that I may be on it too much.

I'm glad you saw the conversation as helpful, Aidan. I have been trying to tailor my use since we talked. Good luck!
